Having worked as web designer, developer, producer and combinations of all three, I now work predominately in front-end development. This is an exciting area currently, with the mobile web explosion and emerging technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3. I am also a very experienced developer and passionate advocate of the WordPress CMS.

For many years I have worked as a freelance contract developer. Working with both my own clients, and regularly contracting to digital studios, advertising agencies and other businesses.

I moved into web development in 2000. My roles included: Producer for Australia’s largest online store, designer and producer in a large government marketing department, Producer for a digital agency and web master for a financial news publishing company. I have particular interest in usability, user interface engineering and user experience, and I also have considerable experience with server and systems administration, technical management and troubleshooting.

I am reliable, accurate and professional. A creative thinker, with a technical mind. Six years as a music production engineer taught me to trust my instincts and be confident in my decision-making. I pride myself on being efficient and methodical and I have excellent written and verbal communications skills along with good analytical abilities.
